Passive Subwoofer Enclosures

AXTON’s passive subwoofers impress with their perfect symbiosis of excellent sound characteristics, an attractive and practicable design and last but not least convincing tight basses.

Compact Bandpass Subwoofer
ATB120

ATB120
20 cm/8″ Compact Bass Reflex Subwoofer

  • Space-saving flat design
  • Fits perfectly in the double floor, for example of the current Mini F56.
Whichever way you look at it: you always find a place for the ATB120. This subwoofer enclosure – with a 20 cm subwoofer chassis, bass reflex slot port and practical dimensions – is guaranteed to fit into almost any trunk: flat on the floor or hidden in the double floor, fixed on the side panel or on the rear seat backrest – you‘ll appreciate the extremely small footprint.
Of course, in addition to the optimal mounting options, the sonic properties don’t come up short. As known from AXTON, the ATB120 emphasizes your music with a rich and well-sounding bass, which of course can work punchy and loud when needed. The high level of playfulness and level stability are ensured by the precise reflex channel tuning and the careful selection of the subwoofer components.
The large 38 mm double voice coil (2 x 2 ohms) processes music signals up to 300 watts and can be flexibly connected to mono- or multi-channel amplifiers. The rigid glass fiber/paper sandwich membrane has a great influence on the incomparable punchy sound character of this particular subwoofer. All in all, the ATB120 is a great choice – not just for small vehicles.

ATB216
16 cm/6.5″ Bandpass Subwoofer Enclosure

  • The enclosure is made of rigid MDF wood and covered with a strong carpet.
  • Details: The push terminal ensures a safe connection of the speaker cable and quick release if you need to remove the box.
When size matters: With the ATB216, Axton underlines its innovative character and shows clearly that there’s no need of huge enclosures to achieve a powerful bass foundation.

The compact bandpass ATB216 keeps on playing where other “subwoofer dwarfs” reach their limits. With its two high efficient and powerful 16 cm subwoofer chassis inside of the bandpass construction, this enclosure generates bass waves which impressively set in motion every electronic beat, each guitar riff and every bass drum.

The enclosure is made of rigid MDF wood and covered with a strong carpet. The inclined back allows a space saving installation directly behind the back seat. The push terminal ensures a safe connection of the speaker cable and quick release if you need to remove the box.

AXB30

AXB30
30 cm/12″ Ported Trunk Box

  • Tuned for looks: the white LED lighting creates the extra show and shine effect, desired by many.
  • High quality: the terminals at the rear of the boxes come with spring loaded binding posts, to guarantee low resistance contact for the cables.
AXTON’s ported trunk box AXB30 is a systematic further development of the preceding CAB model but still a completely new development. Using the very latest simulation tools, woofer and enclosure parameters have been selectively optimized so that box size, volume and relevant parts of the deployed woofer are perfectly matched. Bred for high bass output, the AXB30 converts 100 per cent of the woofer’s magnet force into merciless sound pressure.
Due to the stiff and rigid low resonance MDF enclosure, the high-performance 30 cm/12″ woofer is able to transform full input power into deep bass response. Equipped with a stiff bowl cone and a big ferrite magnets, the heavy-duty driver combines precise bass and astounding deep bass levels with a fast response.
The compact enclosure comes with reinforced walls and flow-optimized slot port featuring unlimited acoustical throughput. This increases the achievable maximum sound pressure level upwards – completely avoiding air turbulences, for absolutely noise-free, clean, crisp bass, even at full bass output.
